\u201cNow a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany.\u201d\u00a0 John 11:1 NKJV<\/em><\/p>\n

Before leaving the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, here are two more lessons:\u00a0The fourth lesson is about radical faith.<\/strong>\u00a0When somebody is dead and buried, that\u2019s as \u201cfinal\u201d as it gets. Period. To still believe God in the face of such a situation requires radical faith. Until this moment Martha had \u201cif only\u201d faith. \u201cLord, if only You had been here, my brother would not have died.\u201d (See Jn 11:21 NKJV) But then she began to realize what Jesus could do, and moved to \u201ceven now\u201d faith. She said to Jesus, \u201cBut even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>(v. 22 NKJV) Radical faith says, \u201cLord, I believe that my future can be greater than my past, that You can turn the situation around and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, that nothing is too hard for You.\u201d Radical faith in the face of radical circumstances brings radical results.<\/p>\n

The fifth lesson is about restoration.<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cTherefore the sisters sent to [Jesus], saying, \u2018Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick\u2019\u2026Then\u2026He said to the disciples, \u2018Let us go to Judea.\u2019\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(vv. 3 & 7 NKJV) You\u2019ll never know what the Lord can do until you invite Him into your situation. He can give you back what you have loved and lost. He can restore what life has taken from you\u2014and then some! It\u2019s not too late. Send for Jesus. No matter how bad your situation may be, pray, \u201cLord, even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
