\u201cWho will go for us?\u201d \u00a0Isa 6:8 NIV<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Understand two things:<\/p>\n

(1) Borrowed beliefs have no power.<\/em> Unless you have a personal encounter with God, your life will have no impact. After they\u2019d been filled with the Holy Spirit, we read: \u201cThe apostles testified powerfully\u2026and God\u2019s great blessing was upon them all.\u201d (Ac 4:33 NLT)<\/p>\n

(2) Unused power has no value. <\/em>Isaiah writes: \u201cThe posts of the door were shaken\u2026and the house was filled with smoke.\u201d (Isa 6:4 NKJV) What a mind-blowing experience to have in church! But Isaiah had to leave, go out and perform God\u2019s purposes. \u201cI heard the voice of the Lord saying: \u2018Whom shall I send?\u2019\u2026Then I said, \u2018Here am I! Send me.\u2019 And He said, \u2018Go, and tell this people.\u2019\u201d (Isa 6:8-9 NKJV) <\/em>You must spend time in God\u2019s presence building a relationship with Him, then carry His word to those hurting around you. When Jesus took His disciples up the Mount of Transfiguration, Peter got so caught up in the experience that he wanted to stay there. \u201cLord, it is good for us to be here.\u201d (Mt 17:4 NIV) But Christ explained that His power is not for storing\u2014it\u2019s for sharing! Paul wrote: \u201cI will not\u2026speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me.\u201d (Ro 15:18 NIV) Paul didn\u2019t glory in what Christ had donefor<\/em> him, but\u00a0through<\/em> him. God has only one reason for filling you with His Spirit, that\u2019s to pour you out in service to others. Jesus said: \u201cThe Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach\u2026[and] heal the broken-hearted.\u201d (Lk 4:18 NKJV) You have been empowered for a purpose!<\/p>\n
