Facebook Cartoon Profile Picture Week apparently began in Greece and Cyprus to support the campaign against violence against children.
The campaign started November 16 and several users of Facebook change their profile picture with their favorite cartoon character from the past. Most of them used the cartoon characters from the 1990s such as Spongebob Squarepants, Futurama, Family Guy, King of the Hill, Pinky and the Brain and Beavis and Butt-Head. Read more
